Three Easy Trios by A. Hirsh (E)

These simple trios have been written especially for beginners or could be used as simple sight-reading material.  Lines are limited to open-position notes on strings (1), (2), and (3) as well as the open D (4) and rhythms include quarter, half, and whole notes.  For ease of execution, parts may be played with the thumb with the exception of Guitar I (in the 2nd movt) which requires free stroke  i-m for dyads.  A perfect introduction to ensemble music.
