Tafelmusik–Quartetto TWV 43 G2 by G. P. Telemann (A)

An advanced chamber work from G. P. Telemann’s Tafelmusik (table music)  Its complex formal structure begins with two compound movements–I. Largo-Allegro-Largo, II. Vivace-Moderato-Vivace, and is followed by two simple movements–III. Grave, and IV. Vivace.   The piece, originally written for  flute, oboe, violin, and continuo, has been transcribed in it’s original key of G major.  The more challenging passages include detailed fingerings to facilitate your players.  Available in standard or as a quartet (harder version).
