Monsieur’s Almaine by Daniel Bachelar

The beautiful Monsieur’s Almaine was originally for solo lute in E major.  The lute transposes a minor 3rd higher, so the Alamine actually sounds in G major, the key of this arrangement.  The piece originally includes extended virtuosic variations, but has been shortened here for better ensemble accessibility.  Available here as Standard, Expanded (with contrabass), and Quartet (harder).
